    Initiate your journey with our Whole Health Assessment. This up-to-90-minute exploratory session delves into your health history, concerns, relevant physical exams, and a review of recent labs. We'll also introduce you to our philosophy of naturopathic medicine, and discuss potential testing and IV therapy, where appropriate.

  • Your Initial Visit and Subsequent Encounters

    Our first session is up to 90 minutes and is dedicated to truly understanding you. If our offerings align with your needs, you'll be extended an invitation to one of our exclusive six-month Premier Health Memberships. While these memberships provide a plethora of benefits, peptides, IV therapies, and vitamin shots are additional options, offering flexibility based on individual needs.

    Your well-being is our utmost priority. While we understand the allure of a quick IV boost, we emphasize that it's a medical treatment. Every potential IV therapy patient undergoes an initial, brief IV assessment to confirm that the treatment aligns with their health profile.

    True to naturopathic principles, our approach is holistic rather than a mere symptom-relief strategy. Your health might have been on a certain trajectory for years, influenced by multiple underlying causes. Addressing these in-depth can take time, ensuring lasting and genuine recovery.

  • Financial Considerations

    Our services at Zuma Wellness are cash-only. We do not accept insurance.
    Unfortunately, most of our services are simply not covered by any insurance companies in California and cannot be billed.
    Fees are due and payable at the time of the visit. We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks or cash.

  • Rescheduling & Canceling Appointments

    Patients may reschedule their appointments by calling our office directly at 310-317-4888 or by emailing us at contact@drsarahmurphy.com.
    Please note that we require a 24-hour advance notice for appointment cancellation and rescheduling. Patients who do not cancel or reschedule appointments 24 hours in advance will be charged the full price of the missed visit.

    Medical Emergencies:
    If you're facing a true medical emergency, your immediate step should be to dial 911 or visit the nearest hospital. Please note that Zuma Wellness does not provide urgent care or emergency services.
    Our team, led by Dr. Murphy, is wholeheartedly committed to your healthcare needs. For any queries or clarifications:

  • Our Practice Manager

    She's your primary contact for all things practice-related, including general questions, appointment needs, or immediate concerns.
    If something feels urgent, please express that urgency clearly. We always strive to accommodate immediate needs, whether that's scheduling a same-day visit or directing you to a specialist when necessary.
    Should your concern be non-urgent, it will be communicated to Dr. Murphy, and she'll respond to you at her earliest availability.

  • Calls

    Place direct calls to our primary line for prompt assistance at 310-317-4888, Monday - Thursday, during normal business hours. Please note that we are closed on Fridays, weekends, and holidays.
    **Emergencies should be directed to 911 or your nearest hospital.

  • Emails

    General inquiries can be sent to contact@drsarahmurphy.com.

  • Patient Portal

    Zuma Wellness patients with specific treatment-related concerns can use our secure patient portal for direct communication with Dr. Murphy. Note: New health concerns since your last visit may require an in-person assessment.

  • Texts

    To ensure privacy, consistency, and clarity in communication, we don't send or accept text messages. We appreciate your understanding and encourage emails or calls for a swift response.

  • Lab Results

    For the best outcomes and clear communication, Dr. Murphy recommends scheduling follow-up appointments to discuss test results. If patients are unable to visit the office, results can be discussed via telehealth appointments or over the phone.

  • Lab Fees

    Dr. Murphy is dedicated to obtaining the highest quality information for accurate diagnoses and treatments. Specimens may be sent to various labs across the country. Please note that each lab bills separately. Basic blood work may be billed to your insurance if desired. *Exception - please note that Medicare does not cover orders by NDs yet. Dr. Murphy or a team member will clarify lab payment options once the necessary labs are identified.

  • Medication Refills

    Please monitor your medication levels closely and reach out to your preferred pharmacy a minimum of two weeks before running out. Should a refill authorization from Dr. Murphy be necessary, the nature of the medication might require you to schedule an appointment, especially if it's been a while since your last visit.

  • Supplements

    Supplements can be accessed through our online Shopping page, and we're here to assist should you need something specific.
